The Liberty Patrol provides the following services:

• Promotes safe recreational practices through example, educational programs, and on-hill services
• Emergency care and rescue for Liberty Mountain Resort guests and employees
• Mitigates hazards to create a safer, more enjoyable environment
• Supports NSP sectional, regional, division, and national system and activities
• Promotes snow sports and outdoor recreation

The National Ski Patrol (NSP) is a 26,000 member association striving to be the premier provider of training and education programs for emergency rescuers who serve the outdoor recreation community. NSP's mission is to provide education and training in leadership, outdoor emergency care, safety and transportation services, which enables members to serve the community in the safe enjoyment of outdoor recreation.
